1. About IAPTP

These Terms and Conditions govern your use of the IAPTP website at www.iaptp.ie and any services provided by the Irish Association for Play Therapy & Psychotherapy (IAPTP), a Company Limited by Guarantee (CLG) registered in Ireland.

By accessing our website or using our services, you agree to these Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

2. Membership

IAPTP membership is subject to the following conditions:

• Membership applications must be completed in full and are subject to verification of qualifications and compliance with IAPTP accreditation criteria
• Membership fees are payable annually and are non-refundable once paid
• Members must adhere to the IAPTP Code of Ethics and all IAPTP policies at all times
• IAPTP reserves the right to suspend or terminate membership where a member is found to have breached the Code of Ethics or IAPTP policies
• Access to the IAPTP Members Hub is an exclusive benefit of active membership and will be withdrawn if membership lapses or is terminated

3. Event Bookings and Ticket Purchases

When purchasing tickets to IAPTP events:

• All ticket purchases are subject to availability
• Tickets are non-refundable unless the event is cancelled by IAPTP
• IAPTP reserves the right to refuse admission where a ticket holder has acted in breach of IAPTP policies or professional standards
• CPD certificates of attendance are issued to verified attendees only and cannot be issued for partial attendance
• In the event of cancellation by IAPTP, a full refund will be processed to the original payment method

4. Website Use

When using the IAPTP website, you agree to:

• Use the website only for lawful purposes
• Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the website or its systems
• Not use the website in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it
• Not reproduce, copy, or redistribute any content from the website without prior written consent from IAPTP

6. Find a Therapist Directory

The Find a Therapist directory lists IAPTP accredited members who have consented to be included. IAPTP does not accept responsibility for the services provided by individual listed practitioners. Users of the directory are advised to verify a practitioner's credentials directly with IAPTP before engaging their services.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Irish law, IAPTP shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss or damage arising from your use of the website or our services. IAPTP's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount paid by you to IAPTP in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Third Party Links

The IAPTP website may contain links to third party websites. IAPTP is not responsible for the content or privacy practices of those websites and links should not be taken as endorsement.

9. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ireland. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
